Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 31, 2025  •  Version: 1.0

Our Commitment

GoWith is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful community for adults to connect over shared activities and interests. We take child safety extremely seriously and have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform.

This Child Safety Standards policy outlines our approach to preventing and addressing any content or behavior that could harm children.

Important: GoWith is an 18+ platform. We do not knowingly allow minors to use our service, and we will not tolerate any attempts to exploit or harm children.

1. Age Restrictions

GoWith is an 18+ platform only. We do not permit anyone under 18 years of age to create an account or use our services.

We implement multiple safeguards to enforce this requirement:

  • Age verification during account creation requiring users to confirm they are 18 or older
  • Date of birth collection and validation to ensure users meet minimum age requirements
  • Automated systems that flag accounts with age-related concerns for manual review
  • Immediate account suspension and deletion if we discover a user is under 18
  • Clear terms of service stating our 18+ requirement

2. What We Prohibit

2.1 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

CSAE refers to any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Grooming children for sexual exploitation
  • Sextorting or coercing children
  • Trafficking children for sexual purposes
  • Any conduct that sexually exploits or endangers minors
  • Attempting to contact or communicate with minors for inappropriate purposes
  • Sharing information intended to sexualize children

2.2 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

CSAM consists of any visual depiction involving a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct, including:

  • Photographs, videos, or illustrations depicting minors in sexual situations
  • Computer-generated or AI-generated imagery of child sexual abuse
  • Any content that sexualizes children, whether real or simulated

CSAM is illegal. Our Terms of Service strictly prohibit storing, sharing, or distributing this content on GoWith.

3. Detection and Prevention Measures

We maintain essential safeguards to protect our community:

3.1 Age Verification

  • Mandatory age confirmation during registration requiring users to affirm they are 18 or older
  • Date of birth collection to verify minimum age requirements
  • Account termination if we discover a user is under 18

3.2 Community-Based Detection

  • User reports: Our primary detection method is user reporting through in-app mechanisms
  • Clear reporting channels: Easy-to-access reporting tools for any concerning content or behavior
  • Community vigilance: We rely on our adult community to report violations

3.3 Manual Review

  • All child safety reports are reviewed manually by our team
  • Prompt investigation of flagged content and accounts
  • Human judgment applied to all moderation decisions

Our approach: While we do not currently have automated content scanning or 24/7 proactive monitoring capabilities, we are committed to responding swiftly and decisively to any reported concerns. We prioritize child safety reports above all other moderation activities.
